Research shows that one of the most important factors in helping children develop fluency is time spent reading with an adult or loved one. Keeping this in mind, please read to and with your child every day!
Come have lunch!
You are welcome to come and join your child for lunch in the cafeteria. Lunch is 10:50-11:20 am each day. You will have a very special spot where you can dine with your child away from any other distractions. This is a wonderful way to reward your child for some special effort, or to bond with them in a very special way! I do ask that you make sure and stop in at the front office to sign in and out. You will receive a special pass from the front office to be admitted into the cafeteria. From there, you will be directed to the appropriate area. At the end of lunch, you will need to quickly say your "goodbyes" so your child may be off to finish the rest of their day.
