“*Dr. Kenneth Zike has said that at least 50% of the children with learning problems referred to the neurological clinic at his hospital had had no traumas, no birth injuries, and no other physical deviations. Their trouble seemed to come from pressure - pressure to do a task that they did not have the maturity to do.”

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to school!

I am looking forward to a wonderful new year! Please keep in mind how important it is for your child to read, learn their sight words, and math facts as we start the second half of the year! Only 92 days left until my work here with this group will be done and they will be marching off to 2nd grade.

I also feel that this is a wonderful time to start new habits as a family. Set up game night, go for a hike or walk, set aside time for one on one time with each child even for 15 minutes time, and remember that children always learn best through play! That being said, have fun! Time flies in a blink of an eye.

I have received the first Flat Stanley letter this week! Follow along with Flat Stanley's adventures by clicking on the link on the right side of the blog!

Welcome back. Any questions or concerns, please contact me.
